Ryobi 18v Cordless Drill - P206 18 Volt V Questions & Answers
The chuck is jammed.Does someone know how I can correct it? Thanks
Hi, you can put the chuck in a tin/cup of oil, use penetrating, deisel, or as light as possable, also warming it up, keep trying weekly, or monthly, keep forwarding/reversing offten.
I have saved two, one was in a bucket of water for ages, its a "good one" now.

Ryobi 18v drill stuck chuck
easy to fix
with the drill not running
grab the bottom part of the spinning part of the drill nearest the drill's motor.
then
grab the spinning shaft bit nearest the drill bit
pull them apart slightly
when the two parts are pushed together thay lock the chuck
I own a ryobi hammer drill that does the same thing

My ryobi 14.4 v cordless,
If i have this striaght two chargers and the green and yellow lights are on and the batterys will not charge and there 14.4v batterys correct . Then the batterys must be no good unless bolth chargers are bad and have the same problem witch is exterimly unlikely. most likely the batterys and are NG.They don't do well if left in cold condutions or hot for that matter but cold is worse . 14.4 V is is an unasul size and if its not a lithuim ion battery its going to be obisilete and unavaible soon if not already . Ihad the same problem with my RYOBI 7.2 volt can't get the batterys for under a 100 dollars thats one and a speical order i paid 39 dollars for the gun and 2 batterys . They make the money off resale on batterys . And you can do far better then RYOBI for a screw gun now a days

Can you replace bushes on
Hi dboppre,
Welcome to fixya!
I can't find brushes for it anywhere, however, you can get a replacement motor at this website: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/motor-assembly-p-154175.html
Copy and paste this entire address into your browser and the motor assembly page will open for you. Should you need any other parts for it use this address: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ryobi-p206-18v-2speed-drilldriver-parts-c-7931_8051_8064.html
Good luck.
