Yes you should be able to buy a replacement USB cable from any computer or electronic store near your area since there is a generic USB cable that you can use for this camera to transfer data from camera to computer.

There is a problem with this company. Nothing is available on their website. I really think this is a terrible company. I actually called them for someone else and she told me there are no downloads and their website. I am waiting to here from them about getting a disc with the drivers on it. Give me about 3-4 days and if I can get it I will contact you. Sorry, I could not be of more help. It's not me, it's the company.

Right now I am going to go backwards----

Memory Card, when you put the card in the camera, you need to format it. With most cameras, you go to the Menu, scroll through the menu and find memory card, format, click on it and the camera will format the card for the camera.

Once formatted, you set the camera to use the memory card, also in the camera.

Now all pictures will go to the memory card.

If you have a computer with a memory card reader, you put the card in the slot on the computer and the computer will recognize it. Go to Start---Computer---double click on the memory card---your pictures should show up. Usually with Vista you will get a box that pops up after inserting the card that asks you want you want to do. Such as view files, transfer pics to a certain folder etc.

***Make sure you are using a memory card that is compatible with the camera. This does not seem to be a newer model so an SDHC card probably will not be compatible. An SD card would be. If we cannot find a drive don't fret, using a memory card you do not need the driver for the camera.

Do you have the disk? I have gone to ApexDigital website, and cannot find any drivers for the camera. They show the camera, but no downloads. I will keep hunting for you but in the meantime:

On the camera there should be a serial number, look on the bottom of the camera, if you can find one, give me all the numbers you find. I will go from there.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

SD type cards have a little switch on the card that can write protect or "lock" it. Take the card out of the camera and check this switch. To unlock it, it should be moved towards the edge of the card which has the electrical contacts.

To transfer your photo from your camera to the computer you have two options:

1. Use the patch cord (that came with the camera). Make sure camera is powered on to view photos. Click on my computer and the drive (removable devise) on the computer to view the photos.

2. Transfer the memory card from the camera to the computer.

Try using a separate card reader to download your pictures. Next time, use the camera to format the card.

even if you dont have an installation cd you can just get your pictures off it. if you have an usb cable to connect your camera to pc do it and go to mycomputer screen. if your cam is recognized there you can enter by double clicking on it and copy the photos from there. or use a memory card reader to get the photos from the memory card directly without using the camera
