You can use the P7000 Driver from the manufactures website.

There is no proprinter Driver for 64bit. You can use the Epson emulation or the P7000 driver with the printer in its native emulation.

If a fault condition occurs in the printer, the status indicator on the control panel flashes on and off, and the message display indicates the specific fault.

For the operator-correctable faults, After correcting the displayed fault, press the CLEAR key to clear the error message and status indicator and resume printing. If the fault message reappears, contact your authorized service representative.
If a fault is not correctable by the operator, you may try two steps to clear the fault before calling your authorized service representative:

1. Set the printer power switch to O (Off), wait 15 seconds, then turn the printer on again. Run your print job again. If the message does not appear, it was a false indication and no further attention is required.

2. If the message reappears, press the CLEAR key. If the message disappears, it was a false indication and no further attention is required. If the message reappears, call your authorized service representative at 1-800-243-3338.

As far as software for the flash file is concerned , I have checked with their officaial sites , but they donot have any firmware updates.

Try to change the setting like Emulation mode to ESC/P ,or IBM,CPI Setting,Font settings.

I can get the P5010 printing on your AS400... But, there are to many things to check without knowing a little more about your environment.

If you can't ping the PTX P5010 from the AS400 or a PC, then you have a printer configuration problem.
Take the printer offline and hit the Print Config button. and then the enter on OPs Panel. Then post top or first paragraph of the config. so I can look at...

If you can ping the printer from the AS400...
You will need to create a remote out que on AS400... command is crtoutq then hit F4...

When you open and close the platen lever you will notice micro switch that should be engaged... When the lever is down to A - C. looks like this... only 2 other things it could be besides the switch... 152417-001 P5000 Platen Interlock Switch
If anybody has been in the printer where PCBA's are, check the two cable connectors holders... seated good... worst case,it would be very rare if its CMX Board(main logic)...

My P7005 displays PAP FD DRVR CIR error

Hi Either the power supply is not generating a proper 48 Volts or the controller board is not detecting a 48 Volt output from the power supply board. 1. Make sure the power supply board is correctly connected to the controller board. 2. Power on the printer. If the message appears, do the power supply operational check (page 195). If the power supply fails the check, replace it. If it passes the check, go to the next step. 3. Power on the printer. If the message appears, replace the controller board. Record the message and return it with the defective board.

The shuttle is actually the print head.If turning machine off and then back on doesn't fix the problem then you will have to replace the shuttle.

This is usually due to a bad main board. Occationally you can reload the microcode to fix it but not normally. Get the part number off the main board as there are 2 kinds and they are not easy to intercahnge.
