How much time shall i charge the ARCHOS 101
Never haven used one, I'd see if the directions that came with it tell you anything. If not, I'd go with the fairly common practice of a 12-hour charge that many manufacturers recommend for electronics.
How to install adobe flashplayer?
Hi there,
You will need to update your firmware to run the Android 2.2 operating system. This can be done by downloading the firmware from here:
http://www.archos.com/support/support_tech/updates_fwm.html?country=us&lang=en
Choose the 101 from the dropdown list and then download the firmware. There are instructions on that site that teaches you how to do this firmware update.
If you have any other questions or comments feel free to leave a comment on this post. Good luck!

You download the updates from within the tablets OS.
- Go to the settings
- Click on System Updates (Might vary in name based on manufacturer)
- Run all the various update checks available
- If there are updates available from Archos it will prompt you to download and install them
- Updates are based on manufacturer only so just because there is Android 2.3.3 and 3.1 doesn't mean it will be available for your device.
Comment if you need additional assistance.
Ho to update firmware for
Let me just take a wild guess as I don't have a tablet pc but Archos.com via usb might help or whatever it is you connect to your desktop connection.
New to wireless networking, never used before.
Have you updated your firmware on your Archos 101? If you can get to a public wifi hotspot like at a McDonalds or Starbucks you should be able to download the latest firmware (you can force the tablet to check for it by going to Settings - About Device - Firmware Update).
The latest firmware included several fixes for WiFi issues that previous firmware versions struggled with.
I would try that, attempt to connect again at home, and if it's still not working switch your troubleshooting focus to the router itself.
Archosa101it recovery
would you like to recover
On this screen use the volume rockers and power button to select options. It sounds like either the tablet had a problem and needs to be repaired, or you may have held the volume button when powering up the tablet which enters that recovery mode.
You could try simply holding the power button for 10 seconds which will shut it off entirely then power it back up.
If it goes back to the recovery screen try to repair it, if that fails you'll probably want to talk to Archos support, your tablet should still be under warranty since it's only been out a few months.
No sound through speakera but headphones work. I
I was looking around on various websites and some people say that you can insert your headphones in and out of the headphone jack and it'll work. However i've had no luck with it, i think i just got a faulty product
