How do i replace belt on ariens
The best method
is remember pulleys with flat sides run on the outside of the belt and "V" shaped pulleys run inside the belt. The owner's manual should show belt routing or go to
www.ariens.com and download a parts list. This should help you determine the belt path.
Grass catcher
What I would do Wayne is contact Ariens through the web site or at their dealership and see if one may be placed on your mower. Each manufacturer has their own set up for grass catchers, so I have not seen one the fits all. If you don't get anywhere Wayne, think about buying a lawn sweeper that is attached the the rear of you mower. If you purchase a good one, you will be very happy with it's performance. I hope that helps you out in some manner.
The blades where replaced but not with Ariens
The one thing you have to make sure is that the blades are the correct length or in the correct positions. This is most likely were your problem lies. I have a 42 inch Sears and the blades are of all equal lengths. When you rotate by hand the blades if allowed look like they would touch but are very close. Good Luck...

Hi skhaynes,
Did you hit something hard with it?
If so, check to see if any of the linkage or the fork is bent.
Jack the mower up on that side and try to wiggle the tire back and forth. Can it be moved or is it tight on the axle? If it can be moved then the bearings probably need replacing.
If not, then you probably have something bent.
Here is a website with a parts breakdown so you can see how all the parts fit together: >>>> http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Ariens-Parts/Riding-mower-tractor-Parts/Model-99180000101999999/3071/1506000/1011647P/00006?blt=06&prst=&shdMod=
Check everything that connects to the tire for solid connections and bent parts. If you need to order a part, this website should do it for you.
Good luck.
Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,
Handie Andie
