Err code 3

From manual at pag.3:err code 3Appears when pressure value did not increase during cuff inflation: 1) cuff is not fastened 2) air connector is not connected properlMake sure cuff tube is properly connected to monitor, cuff is securely fastened and exhaust rate is between 2 mmHg and 5 mmHg. Make sure air connector is inserted properly into tube and monitor.refer to manual

The only way to recalibrate it, is to send it to the manufacturer. Generally, they do not charge for this service (except for shipping it to them). The reason they have to do it, is that they have to certify that the calibration is correct.

Contact the manufacturer before sending it, for any special instructions they may have.

I take 4 consecutive readings (within a minute)

4 consecutive readings in a minute? No wonder you're getting widely varying readings. Your wrist or arm is not having time to recover from the constriction of the cuff. Try doing only two and waiting at least 30 to 40 seconds in between.

The best way to do it, is take one reading in your left arm and the other in your right arm. If they match or are within a few points of each other, the cuff is probably accurate.

Also, on your next visit to your doctor, take your cuff with you. After they take your vital signs at the doctors office, properly apply your cuff and compare your cuff's reading with theirs. If they are within a few points of each other that's fine.
