bulb should stationary, not fault. make sure bulb proper fit, push in hard, screw up, all covers on and screw, all cables correct insert, hours reset if exceed safe limit. then google viewsonic pjd6251 projector manual

sounds like a bad bulb

projectors get a resistance reading from the bulb and if it doesnt get right value it will give you the double red lights

only other thing it could be is if the fans in projector are not turning on

call viewsonic and tell them issue and make them resolve issue

or

if unit is only 2 weeks old bring it back to store and get replacement or call viewsonic and get them to send you replacement unit - it is too new to mess with it yourself and take chance on voiding warranty
