Unfortunately, the PJD5111 is indicating that the lamp has overheated. If you wait 45 minutes for the projector to cool down and these lights still come on, then the unit has an internal failure. The failure may be in the temperature sensor or that circuit. If the projector is still under warranty or on a maintenance plan, contact the dealer. I wish that I had better news for you. there is a adjuster on the lens, but it also depends on how fare you have it from the area you want to display too, as some are 3 meters or more away and some models are 2 meters away,if moving it to close to the area it displaying to and is clear at this point then the chamber has become moved (ie dropped or banged) this will knock out the alignment, and would think its the focuser has move. can also be condensation on the dlp if its been stored in a damp area this would also make it hard to focus as it would leave marks on the dlp chip that she light shines through. and would need cleaning off,

All you should need to do is go to the menu on the projector, and find the Filter Timer. Hit the right arrow to select the filter time, and then hold the rest button on the projector until you are prompted to confirm the reset. Hit menu to confirm and it should now reset the filter timer. Now cut the projector off and back on and the lights should stop blinking. I hope this helps.

Air-Filter
Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned as described below at intervals of approximately 100 hours. When
the filter is used for approximately 100 hours, the message "CLEAN THE AIR FILTER" appears
when the projector is switched on.
1 Switch the projector power supply OFF, and remove the power cord from the power outlet.
2 Clean the air filter with a vacuum cleaner.
3 Reset the Filter Timer using the function of the FILTER TIME on the OPTION Menu. Please
refer to the description of the "FILTER TIME" on the Table 9: MAIN Menu.
Replacing the Air Filter
Replace the air filter if contamination cannot be removed, or if it is damaged. To order a new air
filter see page 26 for contact information.
1 Switch the projector power OFF, and remove the power cord from the power outlet.
2 Remove the filter cover and the filter.
3 Replace the new air-filter and the filter cover.
4 Reset the Filter Timer using the function of the FILTER TIME on the OPTION Menu. Refer to
the description of the "FILTER TIME" on Table 9: MAIN Menu.

Scroll down to the filter timer in the Menu and hold down the right arrow button for a couple of seconds .
