Jumper setting

Probably not the jumper settings Nethen.Check the Power Supply's three main voltages, with a multimeter set to DC Voltage.3.3 Volts, 5 Volts, and 12 Volts. No, don't guess. You could have a Power Supply with a weak voltage power rail, and have fans spinning, and LED's lighting up.Why?1) If ALL of the LED's were on at once, they would use less than 1 Watt of power.2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts of power.3) A typical Processor can use 51 to 125 Watts of power. Just depends on what Processor it is.Hmmm, lemme see...Socket 478 processor socket, and Intel 865G motherboard chipset;Supports Intel Celeron, Celeron D, and Pentium 4.Prescott, Northwood, and Willamette Cores,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_4_microprocessorshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Celeron_microprocessors#.22Willamette-128.22_.28180_nm.29http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Celeron_microprocessors#Celeron_D_.28single-core.29I'm going to say 55 to 89 Watts. Again, it depends on what Processor. This means you would have enough power to turn those simply LED lights on, and fans; but NOT enough power to TURN the Processor on; with a Power Supply that has a weak voltage power rail.OR,Use a KNOWN to be good, Compatible power supply, for a temporary test unit. Before you start though, take a CLOSE L@@K at those Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard.(Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor/s, to be exact)http://capacitorlab.com/visible-failures/index.htmhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lut7MX5Dd_Ahttp://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/595http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plaguehttp://www.mouser.com/Passive-Components/Capacitors/Aluminum-Electrolytic-Capacitors/Aluminum-Electrolytic-Capacitors-Leaded/_/N-75hqw/Has anyone fooled with the CMOS jumper? If so state what happened.Post back in a Comment.Regards, joecoolvette

No audio

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the (((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer hope this helps

Just ineed video card p4i65gv

The p4i65gv is an older motherboard, supporting Socket 478 processors. The only slots on the motherboard that support a video card are the 3 PCI slots. You will need at least one of these to be free before you can consider purchasing a video card.

As the motherboard is older, the video card will also be an older card, with low capabilities. It will not be able to handle high-end graphic-related tasks such as heavy gaming or 3D modeling. You can find a list of around 30 different PCI graphics cards here: http://bit.ly/cBqrGl Remember, the card MUSt be PCI; do not confuse PCI with PCIe.
