Loops cross over on both sides - wavy pattern develops

Several things may be causing this.

First, make sure that the wire rack is DIRECTLY above the cones of thread (it may be backward). The thread must come straight up from the cone as it pulls off. Not coming straight up will cause a wavy stitch because of the thread dragging on one side of the cone.

Make sure that the threads are fully pulled into the tensioners, not riding on top of the discs.

Inspect the needle plate and ensure that the stitch forming pins and or fingers are intact.

THREADING FOR JUKI MO 357

Put new needles in it.

Following the colors, thread the upper looper first, then the lower looper. Next thread the needles. Always thread in this order.

My blades won't cut, they seem to be rolling rather than cutting

check bottom blade,it should be flush with needle plate. when you turn hand wheel by hand the top knife should be even along the length of the bottom one .the top knige is held by a 7 or 8 mm screw [looking straight at you] slacken this ,turn wheel till knife come to bdc and push the top blade against the bottom one. however if the edges of the knives are shiny or worn ,it will never cut. you can buy them relativly cheaply [eastman staples huddersfield is main juki agent].

My thread is breaking when

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NEEDLE FOR THE THREAD YOU ARE USING, AND THAT THE SAME THREAD IS ALSO IN THE BOBBIN. CHECK UPPER TENSION, BY PULLING SLIGHTLY, IF IT'S TIGHT, LOOSEN THE UPPER TENSION.YOUR THREAD MAY BE THE WRONG SIZE OR TYPE FOR THE SPEED YOUR SEWING., and the needle your are using( sorry about the caps lock)

Loopy stitches on the back

I have no real solution for your serger, but keep in mind that stitches on the bottom of the work reflect upper thread tension problem, while top stitches are a problem of the bobbin tension( FOR THE MOST PART)

THE NEEDLE WILL NOT CATCH TO SEW MATERIAL

Most likely, the needle is not inserted correctly. You don't say what kind of machne you are using, but every one has a different needle insertion. . Some thread front to back, some left to right, and some have an indentation just above the threadhole.. Also, if the needle is not perfectly lined up, it won't thread, or sometimnes, if the bobbin is not inserted correctly, it won't thread.Check your threading diagram, and pay close attention to the needle position.Good luck!

Not problem-question

Different stitch lengths are used depending on what you're sewing. I would say 2.5 is the "normal", "average" stitch length for basic sewing. If there are certain types of fabric you're using that ravel or come apart easily, you would use a smaller stitch length, which means more stitches per inch. If you want to just baste fabric together without having a permanent seam, you woould use the highest number, to have the least amount of stitches per inch.

Cant get the tension rite on m sergery juki mo-3614

always remember to keep the tension the same and try to fix all other things Try to clean the machine I use canned air it is the best thing going. then check the needle is it bent or is the end burred well replace it any way. and each fix try the machine. only change the tension as a last resort and always note the positions and put back to that and if you take the machine in to be fixed leave the bunched up fabric and thread as it is this will give the repair person something to look at.

JUKI MO-634D trouble

Well, you might just need a good oiling. Make sure the machine is not threaded and there are no thread snarls where the loopers interact. It also pays to insert new needles and observe the loopers and needles interact. they should come withn .01-.5mm of touching eachother; there should be no hard positive contact between loopers and needles. So, if its tight to turn over by had, this is usually a cam or bushing that need oiling, or thread that got sucked into the machine and is binding the thing up. What I would do is remove the covers, slip the motor belt off, turn over by hand. If it frees up, the bind is in the motor, if its still tight, then id look for thread, and oil the machine with a light weight oil (sew mach oil, tri-flow... NOT 3in1 oil!). If you have a keen eye, you can wiggle the handwheel and try to observe what parts are moving slightly, and which are not. using that method you may be able to track the bind to a section of the machine or even a specific shaft/cam/component of the machine. Another common bind point in sergers is where the knives mate. Move the top knife to its idle (non cuttin) position and see if this relieves the bind.

Juki ddl-227 industrial machine

Before all else. Turn off machine!
(1) break screws on the hook loose.
(2) tighten one back up very skightly, one you can reach when the needle bar is at its lowest position.
(3) lower needle bar to its lowest position.
(4) loosen the screw just tightened.
(5) position the tip of the hook behind the needle hole. the tip should be as close to the needle hole as possible without actually touching the needle
(6) tighten screws
(7) slowly hand turn the machine (depress the foot pedal to disengage clutch brake on motor) several revolutions to make sure the needle doesn't hit anything on the hook.
(8) if it passes this test, try on a scrap of fabric

I have a juki mo-3614

first, pull out the bvlades and make surte they are sharp. It could simply be that they are dull. Next, line tyhe bottom blade up level to the surface of the needle plate. The top blade should be adjusted to where it slices against the botom blade. You may have to experiment with the height adjustment on the top blade, assuming you have a suitable cutting edge.

I purchased a Juki DU-141

Loopers are probably out of time. I'd suggest calling a good mechanic. This takes some skill and experience to do. As long as the looper tips are not broken, it can probably be retimed within an hours time.
