Washer fills but does not

Sorry for the trouble if this doesn't fix it you will have to replace the control board first make sure the unit is unplugged then next you will have to remove the dash there are 4 screws at the top of it they will be a Phillips head bit or a star or hex head remove those then slide the dash down. Next remove all the wires that are plugged into the board be careful so you don't break a pin and once that is done let it sit for 10 minutes then plug all wires back into the board and don't worry about getting wires plugged into the wrong ports it cant happen there all different and once that is done slide the dash back into place and plug it in and see if this fixes it if it doesn't you will need to replace the main bored hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

My washer will not stop filling. it will continue

Hello there:
If your washer is overfilling, check these: Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve. Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level switch.

Hi

You have an uneven load. Stop the washer, and reposition the clothes. make sure it is even and you should not have this problem. the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
Also are all four corner feet set on the floor? They need to be. Some are auto adjusting but some may require you to turn them to screw them lower or higher. Make sure all four feet are firmly planted... the washer shouldn't rock in any direction. Then.. (or if you have already done that) if it still rocks.. you should check underneath .. there should be an access panel behind it. if you can move it away from the wall and take, a look underneath while it is running you may find something loose.

It looks like the washer tub has dropped but

If this machine is 15-20 years old, or more.......then you got a broken suspension cable, or busted pulley that holds the cable. Push in the clips with a flat screwdriver, in the crack between front of machine and the actual top. They will be spring clips and about 6 inches from the left and right side. When you can get the top off, you will see the problem.
