The drive belt is either broken or the belt tensioner spring is broken.

Have you checked drive belt ?

check the rollers and tensioner as well as the bearings, may even have worn glides or seals on the drum

While most Samsung dryer component failures will generate a trouble message on the display, a failure of the hi-limit thermal protector won't. If the hi-limit thermal protector has opened, it directly interrupts power to the drum motor. As a result, you can start a cycle using the buttons, the 'brain' will turn on the relays controlling the motor ( the faint clicking sound ) and run the cycle timer, but the motor can't actually run. And without drum rotation being sensed, the burner won't turn on either.Solution is to replace the hi-limit thermal cutout, which is located on the 'nose' of the blower assembly next to the dryer temperature control thermistor ( which is slightly larger than the hi-limit thermal cutout ).Also note that the usual cause of a hi-limit thermal cutout failure ( or a thermistor failure ) is ducts restricted by lint ... both the burner exhaust duct as well as the blower intake duct. Both should be disassembled and thoroughly cleaned while you have the dryer apart.

Check the door switch.

Hello. #1-Use a vacuum cleaner with hose attached and vac the drum vent screen inside the drum. #2-disconnect AC power(unplug or switch off 220volt breaker) carefully remove hose from air duck of dryer and vac inside of dryer. Vac the hose and exhaust port. Reattach hose, reconnect AC power and test operation. #3-Problem still present the exhaust sensor or the (most likely) the exhaust fan not working properly. Good Luck!

Hello,
What you need to check is if the venting the dryer connects to is crushed/restricted or in some manner blocked. Check from where it connects at back of dryer all the way to where is vents outside of the house.

You will need to disassemble the entire front panel to get access to 2 other screws inside. Remove the top panel first, then the control panel and then remove the front panel.
