Hi some remotes will only operate a few controls the only way is to purchase a Logitech remote the cost is aprox $50 to $74 dollars ...cheers
available on E/BAY...
I have had this happen on universal air conditioner remotes as well. Try looking on the website for Thorn remotes and universal remotes that will work on a Thorn. Thorn used to be AWA. You could try that as well.
Most universal remotes allow you to seek and find the working code. Look at your manual for the remote for more information. Takes a bit of time, but usually works.
Depends on the brand of the remote...go to the remote manufacturers website and see if they have a code for Technika. A code is needed for the remote to pair with the tv.
For example, "ONE for All" brand remote model Evolve (URC7115), Essence (URC7110), etc are compatible. Go to www.oneforall.com for more information.
