Im having trouble starting my Yamaha cygnus 125 if it has been idle for more than 3 days. The electric start makes a loud banging noise and the engine wont fire, the kickstart wont work either. Once ive ridden it for 10mins its fine until idle for long period again. Any ideas

Sounds like your starter drive on the end of the starter is sticking. It is either worn out or just needs lubricated. You will have to remove the starter to oil the starter shaft just behind the starter drive and work it back and forth a few times till it frees up. If that don't work you will have to buy a new starter.
