2005 SV 650 S: how do i replace the horn on my 07 sv650s?...

This is Suzuki standard for a Pointy, sure someone will be along soon to say if Curvy is the same or not. Start at the standard air gap then see how it feels from there.

Front fork oil capacity (each leg) :
490 ml (16.56/17.25 US/Imp oz) for SV650
488 ml (16 .49/17.18 US/Imp oz) for SV650S

Fork oil level :
92 mm (3 .62 in) for SV650
94 mm (3.70 in) for SV650S

First check choke is functioning correctly and is actually not remaining on. Second, take out air filter and run m'bike in a clean, dry environment. If there is a marked improvement with no filters, replace them, if this doesn't fully solve the richness, check for air obstructions thru' to valves and/or downsize jets to 160 or less. Goodluck.

The 2006 SV650S (US model) is electronic fuel injection which means it utilizes a fuel pump and has no petcock (US term for petroltap).

Either idle set to low or idle circuit is clogged in carb.

it seems like u lost 1 cyl .a coil or wire should be it because u have the smell of gas so its not a carb . this would cause this to happen

Check fuse #4 in your fuse panel

Count the links on the old one.

if you have ohm meter check horn button and try applying power directly to horn and see if its ok. while doing this also check all connections
