2004 Yamaha V Star 1100 Silverado Logo
Anonymous Posted on Nov 20, 2009

I just bought my 2004 Yamaha 1100 and was told it was the Silverado. Now I am not sure because there are different 1100 models that look a like such as the custom, classic etc.. It is red and gold with full fenders front and rear. It has a winshield that says Silverado and came with saddlebags. How can I tell for sure what model I have. It also has an eagle head mounted on the front fender which I guess may have been added on by someone. I would appreciate any input anyone can give to me.

Look on the title to the bike and write down the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). Then call a Yamaha dealer and give them the number. They can decode the number and tell you exactly what you have. If you don't have the title yet, give them the frame number > The VIN is the frame number. Could you take a moment and rate my answer? Thanks!

How do you replace the spark plugs on a 2004 Yamaha Siverado 1100

Lift the back of the tank up and prop it up. Remove the chrome beauty covers, find spark plug wires and remove. Blow out with air first. Chaz Moto DC
