Have you checked the coils

Did you measure how much came out? That would be a good amount to start with, then check the level, top up if neccessary until it reads right on the dipstick.

You have a crankcase breather hose that may be blocked, allowing excessive oil pressure to push oil out. It should be routed to the airbox. This may also be the overflow hose you are speaking about. Your oil type may not be suited to a motorcycle engine, automotive oils are NOT suitable for bike engines for many reasons, notably shared gearbox and engine oil and a wet clutch. Check function of the oil pressure switch as this should send a signal of loss or excessive oil pressure. Check your manual for correct weight and quantity and type of oil filter needed. The oil level is indicated on the stem of the oil filler cap.

Possibly if too full oil is getting to combustion chamber? Have you pulled a spark plug to see what they look like? You should check owners manual for correct procedure on addin/changing oil. I always recommend the shop manual for usually under $15 at auto/cycle parts stores.

Great bike !.i recommend Castrol Syntec Actevo motorcycle oil 10-40wt buy 4 qts...After draining oil and replacing filter and drain bolt pour 1 qt in dipstick hole w/bike level on level ground..check dipstick and top up slowly while checking dipstick

Its probably a build up of grime on the inside of the cover. The only way to clean it properly is to remove the cover completely and clean it.Only problem with that is yuo might tear the gasket.Otherwise , warm the engine. turn it off and drain all the oil. Then measure the correct amount of oil in a plastic measuring jug and refill fresh oil.
