SOURCE: how much does it cost to replace a fuel pump on 04

fuel pumps are kindda expensive, especially on import vehicles. Number one cause for fuel pump failures is heat. When your rinding with the fuel below half, the pump is party exposed inside the fuel tank and when exposed for periods of time it tends to heat up and then gradually burns out cause you to replace it. It's ok to go below half but not to often, I hope it helped abit.

SOURCE: input speed sensor 2001 Sante Fe

that's actually the output of the vehicle speed sensor.
The input of the speed sensor is actually on the right front wheel assembly. It's the little electrical knob looking thing right behind the control arm.

SOURCE: Check engine light comes on for 2004 Hyundai Sante

First of all, why was the O2 snsr replaced?... Check Engine light? What DTC (diagnostic trouble code) did you find stored in the ECU (Engine Control Unit)? The drivability you seem to be describing can have multiple causes -- faulty sensors, malfunctioning computer, clogged catalytic converter, leaky injectors, vacuum leaks, etc.

Ok... this is gonna take some time. The 04 Santa Fe came with 3 (three) different/possible engines -- the 4 Cylinder 2.4 lit, the 2.7 V6, and the 3.5 V6. Only the 2.4 (4 cyl) and the 3.5 V6 are equipped with EGR. The 2.7 does NOT have EGR. To answer part of your question, the EGR system on the 4 Cyl is known to develop restriction(s) in the EGR port (from the # 4 cylinder exhaust port to the EGR valve at the intake manifold). This port travels through the head (front to rear, i.e., Left to Right when viewing the engine from the transmission end). This port cannot be seen at the # 4 cylinder exhaust port unless you remove the exhaust manifold.

It would be very helpful if you could provide more detailed/specific information regarding the drivability issue & what/which codes were found related to the Check Engine light.

1993 Mitsubishi 3000gt when mass air flow sensor is plugged in car wont rev past 2500 rpm car was bought with it unplugged. Replaced the mass air flow sensor an still does it. When its unplugged it runs...

The computer only knows the voltage across what it thinks is the MAS. A bad wiring connector and a bad MAS is all the same to the computer. I would change the harness to the MAS before I spent any time or money on any other problem solving.

I have a 1996 dodge stratus that was stalling when you would come to a stop, I was getting a IAT sensor code, I unplugged some of the connectors under the hood to check for corrosion, everything looke

If the mass air sensor (MAS) is malfunctioning, it could be telling the control unit that a lot more air is entering the engine than the true amount of air. So more gas is distributed to the engine to match the mass air reading. When you unplug the PVC from the hose, you are introducing more air and are one step closer to equaling what the possibly malfunctioning MAS is telling the control unit. Connect all hoses and sensors. Disconnect the MAS. It will be that sensor, just after the air filter. This will put the MAS readings into fail-safe (general parameters) . If this MAS is reading incorrectly, the engine should be smooth when the MAS is unplugged. If this fixes your issue, there is special cleaner to spray and clean the sensor. It may not be bad. It may just have a coating on it (inside the air intake tube). I've seen a feather on the mass air sensor shut down an engine completely

95 mercury i replaced tps and mass flow air and car running for 10 min now wont start at all

I would check for trouble codes in the computer and fuel pressure next.
You need to figure out if you are dealing with a no spark or low fuel pressure issue to proceed.

Turns over wont stay running replaced the spider valve and still wont stay running

SEE IF YOU CAN FEATHER THE FUEL PEDAL TO KEEP IT GOING IF NOT
1..TRY TO CLEAN THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR..GO FROM YOUR AIR BOX FOLLW THE HOSE OVER TILL YOU FIND THE **** REMOVE CLAMP AND THIR IS A SCREAN UNDER HOSE THAT GETS CLOGED WITH CARBON AND NEEDS CLEANED SO ENGINE WILL BREATH
2. IF THEN IT DONT WORK THEN THE ONLY THING LEFT IS THE TPS SENSOR LOCATED ON SIDE OF THROTTLE BODY WILL HAVE 2 SCREWS HOLDING IT ON AND A GOUP OF WIRES WITH JUST A CLIP TO REMOVE THE WIRES AND CAN BE BLACK OR GRAY IN COLOR

1987 GTA trans am TPI. it runs rough and rich. i let it run by itself and now it won't start unless i flutter the fuel pedel and then it still runs really rough and won't rev up. what can i look for?

I would suspect either the tps or mas air flow sensor, you can unplug the mass air flow sensor ( located in air tube to throttle body) see if this helps. The mass airflow sensor may need to be replaced. please rate if this helps
