there should be a screw head at the bottom of the carb bowl. undo this and it should flow through.

Check the head switch to begin with,if thts ok thn proceed to check the head light wiring from the bulb backwards to the switch, there may be somewhere or by the connectors tht it has fallen lose.

I know you're not going to believe this but there is no idle screw on the 03 125 you have to set the idle by using the slack adjuster either at the throttle itself or at the top of the carburator you will have to slide the boot out of the way adjust accordingly tighten jam nut and you're good to go :-) here's a good one on the 03 the brass washer on the thr drain plug if you loose it and put the drain plug in anyway the bike will not shift and if it does shift it will give you a false neutral between some gears when it warms up usualy on the face of a jump. great bike though Ride safe and Good Luck

Go to http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp , for a freebie manual. My advice is you would be far better taking it to an auto-electrician for the electrical work, but you should be able to take the starter out and replace it yourself. Starters are complex, and have it fully checked out first, the problem could be the battery or even the alternator is not charging properly.

Hardrider, I just went through this delema myself. The choke is not actually a choke like on a car. It is actually a fuel richener. There are three jets in each carb. The main jet, idle jet and the starter jet. The main and idle jet can be removed. The starter jet, which is key to the problem, is pressed in. It is the small brass jet by the main jet. This gets clogged very easily. You see, this jet fills a small chamber under the choke rod from the fuel bowl. When the rod is slid out of the way when you slide the choke lever back, the fuel in this chamber is pulled into the cylinder when it turns over. I had to use a very small stainless wire to clean it out. I used a wire cut from my wire wheel.

Disassemble each carb completely. Soak each carb in carb cleaner and wash off per instructions. Then poke the wire into the starter jet until it goes through. You will be able to blow air through it if it is unclogged. Once you do this it should fire right away and then idle. What you are doing by opening up your idle screw is allowing more air in to pull fuel in through the idle jet. Make sure you sync your carbs too. Smooth idle is also dependant on that.

I use two vacume gauges that I purchased from Harborfriegt for $12 each. I sync one and two, then three and four then two and three.
