I have TVS victor GLX
see...this is not the right solution ectually! he (mechanic) must had to tell you the truth. that there is no need to change wheel bearing & chain damaged along with complete change the things. if you had no idea at that moment than you must resell this bike and should go for new one. but.... what will you do? if the same situation happen again in future with your new one.
you must changed the fork oil just. these cost you just around 650/- per pair. mechanic was the over smart and he knew that you do not know anything about the bike and it's service with spare part.
i have too this one TVS VICTOR GLX 125 CC 2004 nov. model. and i m very much satisfied with it. if you compare with these days bike's ... than you realize...it give more mileage than other and less maintainable.
so.. if you have that bike now a days... so keep it with you. and find better mechanic. bike is not problem.
Paint protection
the 3M protective film works really well, I have it on the nose of my GTI. It will add some sheen, but I highly reccomend it
Engine filling up with gas
there is no way for fuel to get passed the rings right? So if you filled the head with fuel, it would just work its way down the exhaust pipe and out the back, just like its doing. The only way of getting fuel into the sump is; if you have seriously bad rings (it would be burning oil) OR if its getting through the breather system. I don't even think if the injectors were on full-time, it still wouldn't get into the sump... very strange.
Are you sure its not coolant? A serious coolant leak can be completely unnoticeable from the outside, but catastrophic to the inside.
