Overcharging
There should be a voltage regulator which has the job of keeping the voltage at the right range. Look for a finned box near the computer.
My zx7r wont crank after falling over
First thing I would check is the run/stop switch. Second make sure it goes in neutral. Third make sure clutch is working before going to a shop, just a few simple thing to check if you haven't already good luck.

Wont fire up after its been running a whlie
May have a vapor lock in the fuel line. Rerouting the line may help. If you are in a jam, try putting ice on the fuel lines, I know, it's gonna be tough but it will solve a vapor lock.
Bike will not go into gear without stalling out
If you have a cable it probably needs adjusting. If it is hydraulic clutch then make sure the reservoir on the handlbar by the clutch is full of fluid and you might have air in the line and have to bleed the clutch slave cylinder as well.
I'm installing a led tailight on a 99 zx7r
apparently a wire is crossed somewhere.. if you think about it it's quite simple... it begins as a single wire of electricity triggered from the turn switch, then down to the plug... if crossed over anywhere it will trigger what it has crossed.. try getting an electrical tester and check all the connections before inserting the new plug..
ex: turn on left signal, use electrical tester to the connections making sure it's only flashing one connection.. if so, you know it's the plug, examine it for any defects at all and also check the compatibility once more with your bike.

LED signals often need an extra resister in the circuit to give the flasher can enough load to flash
some have this already in the wiring provided, some need an accessory one
My 2003 ZX& jumps when
The clutch plates are dragging. This causes the clutch shaft to turn even when the bike is in neutral and the clutch is dis-engaged ( handle pulled in ). When the shift fork moves to engage 1st gear, the bike jumps due to the shaft rotation. When was the last oil change? Dirty oil can cause clutch drag. Also, are you using synthetic lubricants? Some of them can swell the cork on the friction plates and that swelling causes dragging.
Batter fully charged, clicking noise
If the brushes have worn out then all you will get is as you describe. You will get similar results if there is a bad connection on the starter motor as well. Check the power with a bulb connected with flex.
Changing the brushes is easy. Don't pay a fortune for a new starter!

I shorted the mane fuse
off the ignition switch then change the fuse and then switch on, if it doesnt work check your starting circuit cut-off relay
