This is a detailed process and to be honest this block is not large enough to give detailed directions for each step. I highly recommend you go to Auto Zone, Advance Auto, or any other major Auto parts store and pick up the Haynes or Chilton's repair manual on your vehicle so you have the steps readily available. A lot of repairs can be done with the engine still installed, the repair manuals will identify which ones.

Electric window stoped working on a4 audi 2000 plate

Other windows work? Could be the regulator, motor, or switch. Pull the switch(pops out from the rear) pull the plug for the motor. You'll need a wiring diagram. Put power and ground the the window motor. If it doesn't move, swap the wires. If it still doesn't move replace the regulator. It comes with the motor. If it does move up and down, replace the master switch.

Blower motor resistor hot and not working?

Have the amps the blower motor is pulling tested. Sounds like a bad motor pulling too much power, or possibly shorted to ground.

Antenna motor will not stop running

No, I wouldn't pull the fuse then. But you could pull the electrical connector off at the antenna motor. Just have the antenna up if you want the radio, and pull off the antenna motor connector. When or if you get a new antenna motor for it, it should be an easy replacement. Look for a motor at a salvage yard.

I have a 1996 lincoln towncar and the trunk isn't closing all the way. from what i have read it is probably the pull down motor???? could you tell me where that is located and what to do to test it to see...

The pull down motor is easy to change open your trunk and look where it latches thats your pull down motor it is probably 3 10 milimeter bolts you will probably have to take out the plastics that cover it up and push back or remove the trunk liner material by it. change your motor and you will have to adjust the motor by lightly snugging the bolts and closing the trunk till it is in the right position then tighten bolts and reinstale liner

Trunk pull down motor does not work. how do i replace it?

Hello: If the pull down motor case isn't broken, then before replacing the motor I would replace the pull down motor switch, it is black and on the left side of the motor, take note of how the switch is mounted on the motor (the position of the tang on the switch in relation to the actuator. The pull down switch is held on with one screw.

Trunk pull Down Motor Suddenly stopped working

did it quit making the noise when you lightly push down on the trunk? most people slam these trunks and your not suppose to you are only to put light pressure on them and they pull it closed theirself.. you might check your relays under the hood and look in the box lid to see which one it is.. if this is not the problem you might have to replace the motor to the latch .. you might check with a test light to see if there is power to the motor first though .. thanks and holler if you have more Jerry .

Blower motor location for 2000 Caravan

The motor is located just under the glove box on the passenger side. I remove the glove box then the panel below the glove box. I also go ahead and pull back the carpet and the padding under the motor. It is held in place by 3-4 bolts that take a 7-8 millimeter socket. I use a swivel extension for the back bolts. The motor with the fan blade attached is a tight fit, just keep wiggling and pulling it should come out. Try to remove the old moter without cracking the fan blade, because sometimes the replacement motor doesn't come with a blade
