THE ONLY CAUSE OF THIS IS A SHORTED CIG LIGHTER, IT IS VERY COMMON ISSUE ON ALL CARS.

REPLACE THE LIGHTER ELEMENT 1ST, THAT SHOULD CURE IT, IF IT DOESN'T REPLACE THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY. THEY GET SHORTED FROM HEAT, VERY COMMON PROBLEM ON ALL CARS.
