How do you put tramission fluid into the car - funnell??

Alright.
It's time to buy an automatic transmission funnel, or get really creative!An automatic transmission funnell is about 2 feet long or more, has a regular funnel with a really long neck.
The hose and neck are small.
You put the fluid in the tube that holds the dipstick with your special funnel.
Creative means you make your own funnel with a regular funnel and some small plastic or rubber tubing.

I know they made some changes in 95, but I am not sure about the tranny dipstick. The 94 had the dipstick on the passenger side of the engine, towards the rear, the oil stick sits right in front of it. You check the fluid hot, while running, in park. and you fill it right there too, with along neck funnel. Now, if you don't have the dipstick, then they changed that year, there are 2 plugs on the right side of the tranny, crawl under there and find one up, one down, the bottom one is level and the top is fill. Pull the bottom one out, while cold, not running. if oil seeps out, it is full, if no oil seeps out, pull the top plug and fill with the right fluid till it seeps out the bottom hole, I use 90 weight gear oil top on the tranny fluid bottle and squeeze right in there, then plug them back up. The fluid goes in where you check the level, you will need a long neck funnel. Never check the fluid level cold, always make sure the transmission is at normal operating temperature, do not overfill, overfilling can ruin the transmission

if its a manual transmission, you have to remove the pan from under the car, and replace the fluid and clean the filter , its a magnet clean the metal slivers with a clean cloth put new fluid in. if its a automatic u will have 2 dip sticks one is oil and one is tranny the oil dip stick is usually yellow or white tranny is red and closer to the back of the motor u need a transmission fluid funnel put the funnel were the dip stick go's u can get it from your local auto store put in the fluid your ower manual calls for and if its a leak add some none leak none slip fluid

Get a funnel and pour tha fluid in the dip stick tube while the motor is running . Make saure its the transmission and not the oil dip stick . Most trans dip sticks are at the back of the motor

mcdevito75 here, Trans. Fluid is put in the tranny from the dipstick, remove the dip stick, use a funnel with a hose attached, get this funnell and hose at any parts store. Also make sure the tranny fluid is for a GM car.

If you mean transmission fluid? It goes in the same place where your dip stick goes into. You need a small end, long funnel.

Take Transmission Dip Stick out, insert funnel and add manufactured recommended fluid as nedded. DO NOT OVERFILL

OIY VAY!!! WACKY QUESTIONS,BUT, HERE I GO AGAIN! YOU KNOW WHERE THE DIPSTICK(NO NOT YOU,UH WELL..)FOR THE TRAMISSION FLUID LEVEL CHECK IS?(HOPE SO)WELL THATS WHERE YOU ADD FLUID!!! DAMN!! MY 5YR.OLD NEPHEW KNOWS THAT!!!

It is the same tube that has the transmission fluid dipstick.

You need to use a funnel. This may be a good time to buy a new medium-sized funnel for the kitchen, and use the old one for the trasmission. You can also purchase a "special" funnel at an auto supply store. The special funnel has a short rubber hose attached to it ($8).
