Replaced bumper cover and wheel well inner splash guards on my 2003 KIa spectra. There is more plastic guards under the front of the vehicle and it looks like I need more plastic in the wheel wells since the belts are somewhat exposed. Not sure what these plastic parts are called or where I can get them besides Kia. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Kia spectra wont start

it is probably the starter assuming the engine isnt locked up. I would check to see if you have battery voltage at the starters solenoid wire with the key in the start position if you do i would check the fuses and starter relay

SOURCE: kia spectra starter

It is attached to the bell housing on the drivers side. The starter is located in the back of the engine, under the intake manifold.

SOURCE: How do you replace a Drivers side headlight bulb 2006 kia spectra

Helps to remove the battery, but small ahbds can do it.

Directly behind the lens is a big round cap ... twist it off. The bulb is held in place with a spring that locks in to a notch in the holder. When handling the new bulb, don't touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to shatter when turned on.

How do I replace the right hand side head light for a 1994 Holden Calais vs?

There are plastic screws holding the bumper to the rad support, there is a screw under the top corner of the bumper near the wheel. { you may choose to partially remove the wheel splash guard to get easier acces to that screw.} The bumper then pulls with a little force from the side clips, you can then access the inner and top screws/nuts to remove the actual light.

Free mechanical advice online

it sounds like your mechanic didn't put the splash guard on, properly. You'll need to buy a set of splash guard clips. https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2003-honda-cr-v-5dr_lx_2wd_side_srs-ka-4at/front-fender.html
You can take the splash guard off by removing the clips that were installed. You will need a 10 mm socket to remove the clips. They are two parts - an inner plastic bolt, and an outer anchor. Your car will run and perform pretty well without the guard- it's just there for aerodynamics. I hope that helps.

How to remove front bumper

Remove screws in wheel wells holding bumper to inner fender, and fender. Then remove screw holding the splash guard to the lower bumper cover. Finally, remove screws holding the bumper cover to the core support on each side of the grill, and possibly the outer corners, near the head lamps. There will be some pin/clips retaining the bumper cover still, but separate easily without tools.

Horn location 2000 GMC pickup

Your horn should be located on the front passenger side behind the passenger splash guard located in the wheel well. it is well out of sight from the engine compartment. You should be able to get under the car and see a conch snail shape held by a bracket on the other side of the passenger splash guard covered by the bumper.

Where is the battery located on a 1998 Chrysler curris?

It's inside the front drivers' side wheel well. Jack up the car and remove the inner splash guards. There's a splash guard under the battery, and the rest of the splash guard is 2 parts.
It's not necessary, but it might be easier to remove the wheel to access all the bolts/plastic rivets.

Battery location and how to change it

The battery is located behind the front left bumper cover. To access it, first turn your wheels all the way to the right; you need to access the battery through the splash shield that connects the bumper cover to the inner wheel well. There are a few screws and/or plastic clips to remove to loosen the splash shield, and even a 10mm bolt or two to loosen the bumper cover from the fender if necessary. For more room to work, place a small jack under the car body on the driver's side. No need to lift the wheels off the ground - raising the body just a few inches will give you much more needed elbow room in the wheel well.
