I can't seem to find the nipple or whatever that's hidden behind the driver's side fender. Everything had dry rotted and fallen apart before I got a chance to see where it went. Any more specifics on it's location?

If you feel just under the right bolt that holds the abs unit to the fender wall you will feel the little vacuum nipple sticking out. get a small mirror and you will really see it.

The plastic line in the wiring harness goes to the heater controls; and believe it or not , the other end goes to the vacuum tank - but its in the FENDER !!!!! behind the ABS, kinda under the drivers side hood hinge - great place to put one ain't it ? No wonder GM is going broke !! Good Luck

87 chevy s10 blazer vaccum lines

The vacuum lines on a 1987 Chevy S10 Blazer are responsible for routing vacuum to various components such as the brake booster, EGR valve, and other systems.
A vacuum line diagram for your specific make and model of Chevy S10 Blazer can be found in the vehicle's service manual or in some cases, it can be found under the hood on a decal or sticker.
If the vacuum lines are loose, cracked, or damaged, it can cause various issues such as rough idle, stalling, poor performance, or even a failed emissions test.
It's best to consult the service manual, a professional mechanic or the dealer for proper diagnosis and repair of vacuum lines issues. These lines are crucial for the proper operation of many systems in the vehicle, so it's important to fix them as soon as possible if they are found to be damaged.

I have a 2003 Chevy s10 crew cab and I am not getting brake fluid Through the brake lines. New MC and New ABS modulator. ?

we bleed the 5 different ways (tools)_
if the MC is bad, all ways fail.
i personally use a power bleeding tool (pressure)

not told all things replaced
calipers.?
lines/
MC
ABS modulator valve new.

the worse is air behind each piston of the modulator
this can be real hard to remove.
lots of cars have tool that causes the modulator brain to excise the pistons fast to shack out the air.
but there are many ABS types in the field
and reading up on specific types is a good idea.
first.

1996 chevy s10 pickup blows hot air all the time. even with everything turned off.

In my case (1995 S10) it was as simple as the temperature control potentiometer. The pot contacts were crushed, God knows what breaks and shorts happened there. Replaced the pot and all works like a charm. 3ffe43e2-1688-4bb5-ad86-58f1c719150e.jpg

My 2000 Chevy S10 shakes alot while idling, and the check engine light is on and blinking. I think it might be the fuel injector, I changed the wires and spark plugs but it's still doing it. And oil or...

Check the vacuum line under and in front of the throttle body...with engine idling. It is located under where the air filter snorkel attaches to the engine. Then check all vacuum lines at the intake manifold. Check vacuum lines at distribution block on firewall and check the large brake booster vacuum line from one end to the other. You'll find it!

The age of your vehicle guarantee's a vacuum leak. It may sound silly but the truth is rubber grommets and hose's shrink and dry out over time and the harsh environment under the hood makes it worse. Check all vacuum lines and fittings attached to the intake manifold, valve covers(pcv valve), and be sure to check for a vacuum fitting on top of the intake just behind the throttle body. Does it fit tight in the hole? You can seal loose fittings with a high-temp RTV (Red) silicone sealant/adhesive. Several small leaks add up and your engine, heat/AC, will be all to glad to tell you about it.

Brake line on chevy silverado broken, need diagram to follow line back to box in middle of truck

Brake line diagrams dont exist like wiring diagrams do. If your truck has ABS, that's the ABS controller, and if not it's just the proportioning/metering valve.
