What make one die after the moter gets warm and will not start back for a wile

As new as your Mule is, it'd have a computer to actuate stuff. Hence, check the water temperature sending unit, it may be staying in cold start mode because the sending unit/sensor, is not sending the "I'm warmed up" message to the computer and it's just flooding itself with gas if that sensor is bad. Just a thought friend.

Is the check engine light on, and if it is, get it read to find out what the codes are.

this may be hard if you are doing it by your self but you have to keep wigging it wile putting it in. until it hits home. wiggle it up down turn left to right.

It sounds like the timing belt may have slipped on the sprockets, check the timing belt .

Have you checked your "knock sensor" or cam sensor? It tracks cam and or crank movement for timing.

prob the fuel pump going bad mine was doin the same thing b4 the pump died completely i changed it and its worked ever sence.to check if it is the pump the next time it dosent start have someone turn the key over dont crank the moter but turn it the hole way just b4 it starts to crank wile your lookin under the car and listen for the fuel pump to click if it dosent then thats the prob.

My guess would be your crankshaft position sensor could be going out. I am currently replacing mine for somewhat of the same problem. They get warm and then go off track causing it to stop reading the position of the crankshaft and then it goes into fail safe mode causing the truck to not run.

have the ignition control module checked, also have the crankshaft sensor checked they both could cause this problem the more common of the two is the ignition control module under the coil packs.

When it dies does it take enough time to restart as if it needed to cool down for maybe 15minutes or so? the problem sounds most like your starting to have a pgmf-i main relay go bad.Its located on drivers side up behind lower kick panel. its a dealer only part but any acura dealer will have several in stock.
