The check engine light on my '05 corolla le came on & the code P0741 showed up on the scanner but after driving it a while the light shut off & then turned back on a few days later w/ the same code. i had the car looked over & i was told the transmission seems to be working properly but this was during the time in the middle when the light wasn't on. is that normal? & what does "torque converter CKT performance OR stuck off" (P0741) actually mean? i have seen a few similar questions but i had a hard time understanding the answers because i'm just beginning to learn about cars.

It means that either your solenoid is getting stuck or not performing well and getting stuck .check also for lose conections on the solenoid if not replace tha sensor

Additionally, Thay may replace the ECU with an updated unit, and that particular warranty is in effect for 96 months or 80,000 miles
