You can fit a new one from scrapyard but you will need the chip from the key and the transponder to make it work ,a new one in dealers is around a 1000euros and a dealer will not reprogramme a secondhand one for you as they only want to fit a new one (profit) Unless you can find a local auto locksmith who can reprogramme the immobilisor for you but for him to do this you will need the chassis number of the donor vehicle so he can get the 4 figure code to reprogramme the key to the ECU immobilisor .

What are the result of computer box (ECU) problems?

That would be a very long list.
The computer controls spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and various other things.
It could run rough, or not start, or get bad gas mileage.

We have a 1999 dodge durango which after changing the oxygen 1 sensor it started running rough what could have happened?

you have to reset the computer either with a scan tool or take the ground cable off the battery for 30 seconds this will reset your computer anytime you replace a sensor you have to reset the computer or it will reconize the new part.So it will run like it did before you replaced it.

1999 saturn sl1 4-cyl. all guages / all elec quit working for just a few seconds then came back on. battery 2 yrs old.

If this is a problem that comes and goes - I had a somewhat similar situation where electric wouldn't work and car wouldn't start. There was "burning and arching" in the fuse box - they had to replace it and then it was fine.

Insalled new computer, cranks but wont start

Does it start and die after 1-2 seconds or just cranks and never fires? Did it run before you installed the computer or are you trying to cure a no start problem?

Ford crown victoria 1999 suspension crank on bumpy road

I found a solution posted on your website, suggesting that there are a second fuse to control the charger and it locates on the first row on the right in the fuse box inside. It was labeled as Power Point A (15A). I found out that fuse burned down and replaced it in my car. Now it starts to work.

1997 Plymouth Breeze

Most probably ur crank position sensor or the pick-up coil is defective (or nearly). What that does is the computer knows where the No.1 cylinder is so that he knows when to send the spark to the correct spark plug. Now ur computer doesn't seem to know where the No.1 cylinder is, so he fires at random. Eventually the spark lands at the right place at the right time, hence ur engine is long to start.
That is my best guess.

Its your No. 6 Injector. I had the same problem on my 97 Jimmy. Replaced the SPYDER injectors and it runs fine now.
