No.

The supercharger belt is on the main drive, the water pump is on the accessory drive. Provided that they are both properly installed of course.

My 2004 gran prix (gtp) just hit 100000 miles. What maintenance needs to be done now?

Spark plugs, transmission fluid and coolant change, supercharger oil, air filter, fuel filter, tires, brakes, engine mounts, BTSI inspection and power steering fluid. Also inspect the belts, hoses, pulleys and look for wiring damage.

2000 Grand Prix GTP supercharger fluctuates when accelerating

There is no wastegate.

Change the spark plugs and pay special attention to the plug on bank 3. Look for physical damage on the electrode...cracked, bent etc.
Use Autolite 605's copper core gapped to .055" and NEVER run less than 92 octane.

How supercharger oil is need for the supercharger, 1997 Grand Prix GTP?

The oil should be changed every 30K miles according to the Pontiac manual.
However, it is best to change it sooner or whenever you don't know when the last change was done.

I have a 2002 Grand Prix GTP and i am having trouble with the supercharger. Most times only getting 1/2 boost on the guage and it runs like a regular 3.8l - the supercharger will ocasionally kick in but...

Check the vaccuum lines to the super charger boost control valve located on the back of the supercharger closest to the air cleaner opposite the pully. If you are not getting vaccuum to the boost control colenoide follow the vaccuum hoses back to the boost control switch and check for engine vaccuum at the switch.

1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharger coupler

The rattle you are/were hearing is typical on the Eaton blowers. After they get some miles on them, the coupler wears out and the holes become ob-longed or out of round which causes the rattle you are hearing.
Usually at idle you can hear it very clearly.
I have changed a few, and they are pretty simple to change. Just take off the supercharger belt, then you may have to remove your alternator bracket, depends on which years, drain the supercharger oil with a spray bottle sprayer (it does stink badly) then just remove the 10 or so bolts that hold the snout to the housing. Remember to keep track of where they go, some are different lengths.
You may have to use a rubber mallet, or your hand to hit the snout around to break the gaskets loose. Pull off the old black hockey puck looking thing (coupler) clean out the snout, attach new coupler, then reassemble and put new supercharger oil back in, and your rattle will be gone, at least for another 100k miles.
Best place to get a coupler is at,
http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=155&catid=106
Costs about 30, plus the few bottles of oil for the supercharger.
