The delay switch on my 2003 Pontiac Bonneville does not seem to be working anymore. When the car is turned off, the lights seem to stay on for a very long time. I have turned the delay switch completely off. I am afraid that my battery will be drained from the lights being on for so long.

There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for this problem, consult GM for more info. It simply regards the wiper module cover assembly that has been problem atic in most gm vehicles. Your best bet though would be to remove the cover and look for any signs of moisture intrusion, or broken circuts. If you find a broken circut and are handy with a solidering iron, you may be able to fix this problem. If there is any evidence of moisture, you may want to try to dry the unit out and see if that makes any difference. Normally though this problem ends in replacinjg the complete wiper module cover assembly. Here is where that item is located.

ok, if you havent added any oil to it, the only thing I can think of is you blew a head gasket, and you have radiator fluid mixed with your oil, hence the high oil pressure. Pull your dip stick and check your oil that way, to ensure proper oil levels and to check if you do or do not have coolant in the oil, another way to check is to see if you have oil in your coolant, once the seal on the gasket is broken oil and coolant dont have anything preventing them from mixing.

Remove the small triangle panel in the corner of the window, one clip. then to remove all of the door panel you can pry starting at the bottom and work to the sides. once all push clips are off. (they really sound bad when they come loose, but that is normal.) push the panel up to remove the last two holders behind the door handle. You will have to remove these later with a needle nose pliers and slide them back on the door panel before you reinstall. remove elect from block and remove the Three screws holding the mirror. they are 10MM I think. and the mirror will practicly fall our. Or just hit something with it like my wife does and they come off pritty easy.

Look directly under where the ac lines go into the firewall,it will be there,blow it out with air pressure,when it is clear,the drain,it will pour out like a water fall,if this was helpful,please rate,thank you.

assuming that u have replaced any bad fuses. you have to remove the cover around the instrument panel. then u need to have a socket small enough to remove the screws that hold the head light switch in place. the head light switch knob should come out. you may have to pull it out first before u take the cover off. then remove the old switch and disconect the wires then replace the switch. i hope this helps
