TPMS is the tire pressure monitoring system. This is usually because one of your tires is low.
Here is what KIA says about it:
Once the low pressure tire is reinflamed to the recommended pressure and installed on the vehicle, the TPMS malfunction indicator and the low tire pressure telltale will be extinguished. If the low pressure and TPMS malfunction indicators are not extinguished after about 20 minutes of continuos driving, please visit an authorized KIA Dealer.

If you have to bring it to the dealer, they will most likely have to replace one of the tire pressure sensors.

Thanks for asking and good luck!

2008 kia sportage left turn signal stay illuminated while the head lights are on, what would be causing this?

Usually means there is a ground problem in the socket for the parking and turn signal bulbs. The parking light is grounding thru the turn signal circuit.

My 2008 Kia Sportage almost always has TPMS AND OR ESC dash lights on. Been to dealer multiple times...keeps recurring. Car also dies while idling and recently won't start without jump. Dealer says...

could be but it is up to the dealer to fix it under warranty regardless of the warranty period running out
faults reported during a warranty period but not fixed remain under warranty until they are fixed
The dealer may argue this so get a lawyer involved and talk to kia head office and report the dealer incompenence

After replacing a broken tire pressure sensor the tpms light came on. How do I reset it or turn it off? 2006 Kia Sportage.

The 2006 tire pressure monitoring system will automatically reset after driving approximately 20minutes above 20MPH. It is important to note that if you go below 20MPH during this diagnostic drive cycle the counter in the TPMS module wil reset requiring you to start over. The easiest thing to do is go on a highway. If after this drive cycle the TPMS warning light is still in you most likely have another problem in the system with a code stored in the module.

You're problem could likely be a problem with the TPMS, or (TirePressure Monitoring System) - sensor. There is one in each wheel, andit's recommended that with any tire changes that they be rebuilt orreplaced. I'm not sure if you've reset the tire pressure switch

Sometimes, to reset the tire pressure light you need to get the special tool.

Hope helped with this. Good luck.

TPMS light on 2006 Kia Sportage

Your Tire Pressure Management System is extremely sensitive. Some makes are known to trip with just 5-8 psi. difference. Have the pressure checked again on all tires including the spare. Make sure the spare is up to proper inflation. VERY important. It is possible that the sensor inside the tire as well as any wiring associated with the system under the wheel wells could have been damaged. Start by making sure the pressures are all within system range. The owners manual will stipulate this and all info you may need to troubleshoot on your own. good luck.
