Where is the thermostat located on the air conditioner system on a 1995 Nissan pickup hard body?
The thermostat is located where the lower radiator hose goes into the engine. I've had to replace mine, and it took a while to find it. I found the easiest way to get at it is to remove the power steering pump (hoses attached) and set it over to the side to get at the bolts on the thermostat housing.

Where is the thermostat located on a 1996 nissan 4-cylinder 2.4L pick up truck? I pulled off the upper of the two radiator hoses going into front of engine in front of the intake manifold (was a metal joint in between the hose & the manifold where i thought the thermostat sat)....pulled that metal piece off, no thermostat inside!...Can't seem to find any other place it would be & I don't have an owner's manual.
