INTERNAL BOOT COVER volvo v50

Hi

Where could I get an inexpensive internal boot cover for the volvo V50 (2007)

  • Anonymous Dec 07, 2008

I have the exact same problem. Volvo want to charge me £180 for one which to me seems very expensive.

If you know of where I can find one for less than £100 then that would be great.

Where fuse box is located, internal, on 2004 s-10 auto volvo

Hi Debra, The fuse box for the Volvo are on the passenger side end of the instrument panel behind the cover....the passenger door will have to be open to access it and it is just prised off with a small screwdriver, the fuse removal tool should be inside and the fuse list should be on the reverse of the cover but I think it is No 13 fuse you need to replace!

VOLVO V50 OIL ON CAMSHAFT COVER

I will try and simplify the problem. I have an oil leak, which I traced up the back of the engine to the cylinder head area.
When I removed the top plastic cover on top of the coil packs I found oil in every recess next to the coil packs. The crankcase breather pipe was also off. The source of the leak is not evident, but it is definetely above the cylinder head gasket area.

How to open the boot of a Volvo s80 with a flat battery

Actually if you look right above your license plate there is a plastic cover covering a key hole on your trunk. Look right up buy license plate lights remove the plastic cover and you can manually use a key to open the trunk.

It's a black cover right next to the switch you press to open the trunk. I have an S80 trust me it's there nobody knows about it.

How do i get at the screen wash water bottle on a volvo v50 as it is leaking

inside the wheel arch behind the plastic cover you should be able to access the bottle to remove it.
the bad thing is that some of the mounting screws are behind the bumper.
i don't know a lot about volvo but i did do some research and everything points to the archway

Volvo V70 (2008) won't charge my cell phone. I thought it might be the phone charger itself, but I bought a new one and it doesn't work either.

Probably just the fuse.

Check if it works in the boot, you have a permanently live 12v socket in the boot. If it works on this one then it must be the fuse which controls the two front 12v sockects.

To access the fusebox - Carefully remove the cover underneath the dash board in the passenger footwell. It is held on by two clips, these are released by pushing the centre of the clip in.

Once you have the cover off remove the two front screws holding the fuse box in place, then carefully pull the fuse box down and towards you. The handbook will tell you which of the fuses relates to the 12v sockets. Remove the fuse and replace with a matching one, these can be purchased from most garage for around 10p.

Before replacing the fuse box check the socket works. If it doesn't then you will need to get it checked out by the dealer or an auto electrician.
