What have you checked? fuses ? blower? does it have manual a/c? Auto a/c? turn it on and give the motor a few raps, if it starts to work, the motor is bad.

Heater blower not working

The heater and a/c system have several components as the control switch, the relay, the blower resistor and then the blower. First, you will need to test power at the blower when this happens to see if the blower motor is receiving power or not to determine if this is a blower motor issue or a power supply issue to the motor first.

Hope helps; keep us updated about your advance.

My heater/AC blower is not operating. The fuse is good, but the blower stopped working yesterday, without any prior indications of trouble. Is there a wiring diagram available that would help me...

This is common, the problem is the blower resistor, this is what controls the speeds of the blower, this is located next to the blowermotor, if you grab the wires at the blower and follow them they will lead you to the resistor, its screwed into heaterbox, but if this a van then its located under the hood on the rear firewall, this picture will help you locate it, it will be the only part like it on the firewall going into heaterbox, heres a picture of it good luck and i hope this is helpful.johnjohn2_21.jpg

Ac trouble

TSB #01262004 -- THIS IS A PRODUCT SERVICE MESSAGE REGARDING THE NEW PART NUMBER FOR THE HEATER BLOWER RESISTOR FOR CUSTOMER CONCERN OF THE HEATER MOTOR NOT BLOWING ON ONE UP TO ALL SPEEDS. *TT (NHTSA ID #10012980, JANUARY 26 2004)

I hope this will help you, Was thinking of the blower resistor that control the different speeds and most of the time they were recalls. Just go back to the dealer and see if your covered.

If not i'ld take a close look at the switch and then the Resistor and if you need to know where it is, just ask the guy's at the dealer. Most of the time it's not to far from the blower motor.

Good luck and hope you can save time and money.

Location of blower motor switch resistor on 2004 Grand Marquis

The blower speed controller is located under the hood on the right or passenger side on the heater housing just to the side of the heater hoses near the very back of the right cylinder head.
Yes that would cause the concern you are having.

Brake lights / horn / climate fans not turning on

Hi,

I suggest you check the main relays - any auto electrician should be able to find a faulty relay.

Safe motoring.
