I have searched the fuse which serves for these lights is located somewhere on dashboard, my question is where is the fuse exacly located ? if it is behind the cover of the dashboard how can i open it?

2002 Toyota Avensis: You could have a bad fuse in one area and, you may have bulb connector issues in another area. Check your bulb retainers be sure the terminal connectors are free of corrosion. You can clean these connectors with electrical spray and a small, thin wire brush. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IfKCtX0wm4

SOURCE: Water in the cab from under dash passenger side

The condensation drain is plugged in the heater/AC plenum, the drain is under the hood at the very bottom of the firewall on the passenger side.

SOURCE: 2001 nissan altima dash lights

Nissan does not use inline fuse. You are looking for fuse number 34 (red 10 amp fuse). It is located under the hood between the engine and battery. Possibly marked "ILL"

Toyota avensis indicator

When this started happening your first thing to do is to check ALL ground connections. You will find possibly 2 under the dash. A white wire connected to a wire end with an eye and a bolt holding it to the firewall. Should be one on each side. Always check the grounds FIRST above all else. Make sure they are clean and tight. New shop mechanics will not check this, they just keep charging more and more, checking EVERYTHING else BUT the ground connections. I'm old school and do things right, the first time. Everything else being good, the power is feeding back through the fuse and causing a spike and blowing the fuse. If all grounds are good after your done cleaning and tightening and tried it out for a while, you may have to go as far as pulling the signalstat unit from the columb and checking that connection last. Only happening in hot weather may just be a happenstance. That would make no difference. Unless of course when it happens, the AC is on and pulling power when you use the signals. Use the signals when AC on and if pops the fuse, it's the ground connection at the AC unit. Have fun under the dash.

My 2007 Toyota Avensis 1.8 benzin does not charge the battery, what could be fault?

Check the obvious, the drive belt, if thats ok, start engine and turn on headlamps, rev engine and see if the lights brighten,if not, the quick diagnosis would point to the generator, Regards Mike

Dashboard lights dont work fuses appear ok but dont know which fuse controls dash lights

The parking and tail lights are usually on the same fuse as the dash lights so if the outside lights are working it sounds like the instrument dimmer control has failed. The electronic bits inside the control for these lights sometimes go faulty. A temporary fix is to remove the wiring plug that attaches to the back of the dimmer control and put a jumper wire across the terminals. If dash lights then work then replace dimmer control.

The dash light dont work? in my 90 toyota pickup 4x4

if your dash lights don't work, it could be a fuse in the fuse panel located under the driverside dash board. be aware that if it is the fuse, you also wont have any tail lights either when you turn your lights on. Just brake lights.
