It will be good to have the transmission fluid changed around the 60000 miles clocked on the vehicle.
When doing so it is good to change the whole fluid and not top up as it will give more life and reduce noise of the drive.
Oil eventhough if not used has a life span for the lubrication and so a time limit also must be seen if the 60000 is too long.

How to change oil in a 2006 pacifica

Park on a hill or jack the car up and place jackstands under the vehicle in a recommended lifting area. Your drain plug is on the driver side of the engine. Drain oil then remove the oil filter located towards the front of the vehicle. Replace oil filter put the drain plug back on and refill oil 5.5 qts.

Do I have to take the transmission fluid pan completely off the 2004 pacifica to change the fluid?

advisable ,then you clean the pick up filter and clean the sump pan out ,if it runs and changes gear then leave well alone the gear box oil will not lose its viscosity its only a hydraulic oil and has no combustion like the engine so it doesnt get dirty unless the front clutchs start wearing through boy racer burn outs

2004 chrysler pacifica water in floor board

the ventilation system of this vehicle has a drain. This may have been plugged from debris that lays in the cowl. I would suggest on your next oil change to have the mechanic clean the drain hose underneath the car.

2004 chrysler pacifica

It is for an oil change mainly and any other service your maintenance manual suggests at the mileage interval. It needs to be reset after each oil change to be accurate.
