Dash-board Warning Light says "CHECK AIR SUSPENSION". So, I've tried pushing that AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH inside the trunk; but nothing happens = the Rear End of my 1997 Grand Marquis is still "hanging" LOW. I'm the original owner; it's never been in a wreck & only has 55,578 miles on it. What's wrong?? Thanks for your help = Lois

The drier on the pump needs to be replaced every few years, but few people ever do. you could have a leaky bag if the pump runs a lot, or the pump fuse might be blown, or the drier clogged. the switch in the trunk is only for when you raise the car on a lift, leaving the rear axle hanging.

When I start my car, and start driving, the warning buzzer starts sounding, for quite a few minutes, then no warning buzzer for a short while, then starts buzzing again

the buzzer may just be a reminder to make you look at the dash to see that warning light.
You may need to get the dealer to have a look at it.
Sorry that isn't a solution, but something is better than nothing.

You should have a switch in the trunk area or on the trunk latch it makes contact to ground to turn on the light in trunk if you disconnect the switch should take care of it temporarily.

Air suspension light

The air ride suspension light turns on when for whatever reason the air ride suspention is NOT on. So, either the suspension switch in the trunk is turned off, or you have a problem with your air ride suspension. I ran into the same thing last week. When I checked the switch in the trunk, sure enough it was switched on. I flipped the switch off, turned the car on and then flipped the switch in the trunk to on position. It has been fine ever since. Give it a try. GOOD LUCK.

I have a 1995 Town Car Signature Series. The rear

Sadly, there is no way to turn the light off. I had the air suspension on my Lincoln replaced with the spring kit, and the light is still on. I had a friend take the instrument panel apart and place a small piece of electrical tape over the "check suspension" light. Also, be certain to turn the air suspension pump switch off. It is located in the trunk on the right side.

Air suspension is not working

It just happened to me. I took it to a spring shop and had the air bags replaced with coil springs. It is an identical fit from a Crown Vic and only cost $200.00 total! Too much can go wrong with other parts of the air suspension. The ride is the same.

My air suspension light came on and want go off

The warning light is advising you of a fault in the rear air suspension system. Is the car sitting level ? The switch in the trunk is ONLY TURNED OFF when you incur a flat tire in the rear tires and must jack up the rear of the car. IF NOT TURNED OFF the air suspension will over-extend with air . Hope this helps.

Air Suspension plomlem

1. make sure the switch is on (under the passenger side dash board). 2. check to make sure the relay is good (black little box under the right front bumper. 3. there are two (that I know of) switches/sensors.  1 is behind the left front tire.  The other is up behind the spare tire.  Taking the spare tire off gives you tons of room to work with.  The sensors look like mini shock absorbers with black rubber and can be compressed and pulled easily by hand.  Moving those will simulate the suspension going up and down and should trigger the compressor. 4. if the compressor doesn't come on (and all the above is fine) it sounds like your compressor is bad and should be replaced.  I got one from Arnott Industries in Florida and they have been very nice to work with so far.
