There is no pressure regulator only one is built into the fuel tank to relive the pressure look on fuel rail for a small valve looks like a valve stem similar to tires stem it as a black plastic cover unscrew that and push with a pointy object

The fuel filter on my 1993 grand voyager was in the middle of the car underneath. I don't remember any real fuel pressure in the line when I changed mine. I just put a pan under the filter unplugged it and connected the new one.

How do you remove a fuel pump on a 97 plymouth grand voyager

    • 1 Make sure the engine is completely cool. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Elevate the vehicle and support the fuel tank with a jack.
    • 2 Disconnect the fuel line from the front of the tank. Remove the ground strap, the inboard side fuel tank straps and the front T-strap fastener, then lower the tank approximately six inches.
    • 3 Take the fuel lines from the fuel pump module. Plug the fuel lines with golf tees to prevent the spillage of gasoline. Remove the fuel filter.
    • 4 Install the new fuel filter. Set the bolts in place and torque them to 40 inch/pounds. Tighten the main tank straps to 40 foot/pounds and the T-strap to 250 inch lbs.
    • 5 Reconnect the fuel lines in the reverse order of their removal. Lower the vehicle. Connect the negative battery cable.
    • 6 Start the engine and let it run for several minutes. Inspect the fuel lines for any leaks.

Does a 1999 Plymouth Voyager van have a fuel filter?

Yes it does, It is located on the side of the fuel tank. You will need to lower the tank to disconnect the fuel lines. If you attempt to change this yourself be sure to disconnect the battery first. Also you will want to relieve the fuel pressure before removing the filter so that you don't get covered in fuel. I highly recommend that you go to a local parts store and purchasing a repair manual this will save you alot of problems the book cost around $25 dollars. Or find a local mechanic to do this for you most will charge around $25 labor only if there honest. Good luck

How do i change the fuel filter on 1995 plymouth voyager?

The line is under pressure so be careful when removing the fliter. You should be able to find the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail under the hood. If you press in the schrader valve it will relieve the fuel pressure in the line and make it less likely to end up in your face when you finally remove the filter.

The filter is located under the vehicle on the passenger side about in the middle.

There will be two short sections of hose on each side of the old filter. Replace those sections of hose. Higher end filters usually come with the hose pieces. Use new fuel hose clamps. They are different than the regular hose clamps and do a much better job of keeping the hoses secure.

Fuel filter location 1996 plymouth voyager and what will i need to replace it besides the filter

Just getting ready to do this fix as well. The filter is located under the car beneath the drivers seating area. You have to release pressure in the system by taking the gas cap off and releasing the pressure at the valve on the fuel injection rail. After that it's just three slip connectors and a screw / bolt to remove and replace.
