I have a 99 acura tl, recently the abs light started coming on, soon after, the transmission starts slipping, not shifting and all my gauges stop working. The first time it happened I shut the car off and then when I tried to start it back up it wouldn't start, just some clicking. We replaced the battery yesterday thinking that was the problem. They tested the old battery and it was bad, however I'm getting all the same problems again.

I have helped many Honda/Acura owners on this issue. Many mechanics will replace many parts prior to solving this problem, which then creates unnecessary repairs and spending. So here is my diagnosis: Notice if your speedometer drops to zero when your engine dies while driving. If this happens its your ignition switch failing. Ignition switches in Honda/Acura vehicles years 97-02 encounter faulty or shorted internal contacts. This causes premateur electrical failure to vital engine electrical parts, causing vehicle to stall intermittedly. A recall has been in place since 2002, approximately 1.3mil vehicles are affected, call your local honda/acura dealer for info and possible free repair or replace the ignition switch yourself. My tcs light comes on sometimes along with the check engine light on my acura 3.2 tl. The tcs lt is not on when I start the car, I have to press the button to turn it on. This starting happening rt after I had an inspection service performed. What could be the problem?

I UPGRADE IT MY TL NON TYPE S ...TO THE O.E BREMBO KIT....TOGETHER WITH THE ROTORS AND BRAND NEW ABS SENSORS.......WHY IS THE ABS ,VSA, ABD BRAKE LIGHT ON??MY ACURA IS

Press odometer reset/adjustment shaft in, hold in and turn key to run position. Keep holding in the reset shaft in for about 30 seconds. release shaft. turn key off. restart car. Service Light should go off in about 5 seconds.
