Contact the dealership with the number (assuming this is the number that came off the radio itself) and they will give you an unlocking number (preferably where the car was purchased) and ask them what the code is and how to put the unlocking code in or you can refer to the book with the number the dealership gives you. If that doesn't work they might have given you the wrong number (which happened to me thats why I am telling you this) call them back if that happens. All Acura radios have their own code none are alike. It should work immediately once you put the code in but I believe you have 4 or 5 chances to do this. Be sure to keep the numbers in a safe place in case this happens again or if you sell the car and tell the next owner about this. Good Luck!

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.
if you have the owners manual that came with the vehicle the code should be in that or on a card that comes with it, if you don't have the four digit code a good auto audio dealer should be able to source the code for you, I'm in the UK and thats how it works here, hope it's the same for you
all you have to do is go to dealer with that serial # and they will give you yhe code, bring cars registration and id to prove its your car, i do it alot but over the phone because dealers know me,hope this helps.

You must contact the parts department of your local Acura dealer to get this code. You will need to show them your car's registration to prove that you are the owner. You may be able to get the code with only the registration and the VIN code (found on the registration). Some manufacturers require the serial number on the radio, which would require that the radio be removed from the car to see the serial number. Charlie
