Tilt the seat then you will see two plastic surrounds where the headrest supports slide into, one will have a tab, with the seat tilted so the headrest can clear the roof push the tab at the same time as you tug the headrest out and the headrest will slide out.
Hi Kathryn, I'm glad to help! CAUTION: If you have "ACTIVE HEADREST" you will want to unhook the negative battery cable. NOTE: You'll also need to take the back of the seat cover off and unplug the connector going to the active headrest. Then simply push the release button on the side of the headrest and pull it upward and out of the seat. "HOWEVER" If you do not have the active headrest, then simply push the release and pull upward out of the seat. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Kathryn.
there is a round plastic thing with tabs sticking out if you turn it counter clockwise you can pull it backwards over the wire and then pull the bulb out
There should be a small button on top of of the seat,
where the headrest bar go's in. Press and hold the
button while you remove the headrest.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
The headrest has on obvious button to adjust the height and another button kinda hidden to remove the headrest. The black plastic ring at the base where the metal poles insert into the seat is where the two buttons. You probably noticed the obvious on that sticks out of the side of one of the rings. The other plastic ring contains a similar button that is not noticeable due to it being flush with the side of the plastic ring. Adjust the headrest to its highest position, then locate the "hidden" button on the other plastic ring and depress it while lifting on the headrest and it should come out.
hey u may have figured it out already ,but if u look under the head rest u should feel the two long iron poles going into the head rest on one side of one of them theres a button that blends rite into the design of it so look carefully
