1995 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 5.2. IT WONT STAY RUNNING. IT STARTS FINE AND IDLES BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE AND TURN THE WHEEL IT CHUGS AND DIES. WHEN I SLOW TO A STOP IT TRIES TO DIE AND SOMETIMES DOES DIE. AND WHEN IM CRUISING IF I LET OFF THE GAS QUICKLY IT DIES. I CHECKED THE VOLTAGE ON THE TPS AND MAP SENSOR AND BOTH CHECKED OUT FINE. I HAVE 41 POUNDS OF FUEL PRESSURE AT ALL TIMES EVEN WHEN AND AFTER IT DIES. I CLEANED OUT THE THROTTLE BODY AND REPLACED ALL THE RUBBER HOSES AROUND IT. I REPLACED THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR AND THAT DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING. DISTRIBUTOR CAP ROTOR AND PLUGS ARE ALL ABOUT A YEAR OLD AND LOOKED FINE INSIDE AND OUT. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE?

Check PCV valve and be sure it is not stuck open. Check for vacuum leak at intake manifold.

Mine did this same behavior. Look for the detailed fix instructions for shortening the cover screws on the ECM located on the firewall, passenger side. This worked great for me.
