Blown head gaskets for sure, no way of knowing if heads are cracked without taking it apart, there no quick fix for this, only fix is to take it apart and repair as needed.

White smoke coming out the tail pipe on my 09 traverse

Usually white smoke from the exhaust means that there is radiator coolant leaking into one or more cylinders. Blue smoke is normally from burnt engine oil. Check your coolant level and you will probably find it is down below the full mark.

Have a leak down test done on all cylinders and this will show up a leak in the combustion chamber(s). You will also likely have combustion gasses leaking into the coolant passages and that can cause some overheating of the coolant. If you see bubbles in the coolant , once the engine has warmed up so the coolant begins flowing through the radiator, then you have a compression leak into the cooling system and in that event you will also have coolant escaping into a cylinder or cylinders and producing white smoke.

Coolant leaking into the cylinders will be via a blown head gasket or a crack in the cylinder head or both. If you have run the engine in an overheated condition this will certainly produce a damaged head gasket and possibly damage to the cylinder heads as well.

I had my intake manifold gasket change along with the valve cover gasket. White smoke is still coming out of tailpipe?

White smoke may indicate an internal coolant leak or low coolant reservoir levels. Coolant leaks can also leak into the oil of your car causing it to be frothy or milky looking smoke. You might have a cracked head gasket, engine block, or cylinder head which are all caused by overheating.

Signs blown head gasket

Hi there:
Pay attention. here is the most common symptoms a Blown Head Gasket are:
- Your car is overheating. You know it's not the Fan or Thermostat.
- White Smoke is coming out of the tail-pipe and it smells like Anti-Freeze being cooked.
- The car won't start:
* You have already verified it's not an Ignition System problem because you have Spark coming out at all of the Spark Plug Wires.
* You know it's not a Lack of Fuel, because you have verified that the Fuel Pump is delivering Fuel to the Fuel Injectors.
- The Engine Oil is thick and tan to off-white color.

Hope this helps.

White smoke at exhoust and puch water out of the radiator

Blown head gasket or cracked head. I'll guess this happened after overheating the engine. The compression of the affected cylinder will blow coolant out of the radiator and coolant in the cylinder burning shows up as white smoke in the exhaust.12_24_2012_1_46_50_pm.png

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7 that overheated once. I replaced water pump thermostat fan clutch and radiator hoses. Problem was fixed and then a day later it started making a terrible ticking sound so I...

The sure sign of a blown head gasket is that white smoke along with a loss of coolant with no apparent leak. It overheated, you have white smoke, and if you are loosing coolant you for sure have a blown gasket, cracked head, or both. A compression test will verify a blown gasket or cracked head. I suspect you are on the right track and know what has to be done.

White smoke coming from exaust while the car is hesitating

STOP driving this car immediately. White smoke is a sign of coolant entering the combustion chamber. Possibly a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Serious engine damage will occur if you continue to drive this car. It must be repaired immediately. The head will have to be removed. But first make sure that is the problem. A compression test will verify this. You should be loosing coolant with no apparent leak.
