Have you replace the flasher, this sounds like a bad flasher, some have two flashers one for the turn signals and another for the hazards. hope this helps.

I would have checked for burnt wiring at the actual headlight switch, this is the most common thing that goes wrong, if the wiring is discolored then the connector end must be replaced and the headlight main switch replaced. here is the part u need.\

SOURCE: 1996 FORD F150 ALL THE LIGHTS WORK, EXCEPT WHEN I

You may need to replace the flasher, the turn signals use a different flasher but the same wireing so that would be the first place i would start.

Im looking for color of a brake wire

Hello heinz2127: My name is Roger and i will help you. The rear brake wires are green and yellow. They also are the turn signal wires. The brake lights work through the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch has logistics for determining which side is blinking so as to make the opposite side to show park brake light.Check the fuse box for a blown fuse. Look at the fuse box under the hood. Also try this. Turn on the four way flashers. Step on the brake pedal . The lights should stop flashing If not I would replace the turn signal switch.

Headlights wont turn off on ford f150

Possible cause is that your fuse is blown, or switch is malfunctioning.
Try to check the fuse first.

I have no running lights on my 1996 F150. I have chased wires as best I can, replaced the headlight switch. Headlights work but 30a fuse blows as soon as I turn them on. Turn signals and brake lights work....

If you have trailer lights make sure you don't have a short in the connector or harness. You obviously have a short somewhere after the fuse. Try unlpugging each running light. to see if its in the light connecter. also check the side markers

Checked fuses, none blown, all lights do not work except headlights. I have changed the multi-function switch and still no lights.

its probably the headlight switch. the headlights work, but the taillights don't, and the instrument panel lights don't work either. i have had this on another ford model.
