The three wires to the tow lights have been cut, and i cant find where in the harness they are cut can i bypass it all and just rerun new wires?

you need to tow it to a dealer for programming

2001 mazda 626 2.5 v6. Wire harness to my boss factory raido was cut off and cant seem to figure out what goes where...orange.yellow...light green and light grey..pink and brown..purple and white..dark grey with black strip and sold dark grey...red..blue...black..yellow..can anyone help me out

Generally,on a Ford pickup it will be the wiring under the truck.Follow the wiring and look for corrosion.Pull on every wire at every connector,you most likely will find a wire corroded apart at a connector.Just bypass this bad connection by wiring around the connector.

that will take some major rewiring, no?

USA wiring to Euro type wiring.

lights can be very tricky.

the safest way is to have new connector installed to rear lights.

to the main harness, then you unplug the cars harness side

and then connect the tow bar new custom harness connector to the rear.

none of this is easy or simple.

there is a standard tow bar and a 2000kg for genuine tow bars
you need to remove both tail lights,the bumper bar and reinforcement bracket, spare wheel and exhaust hangars on rear mufflers, remove the tie down bracket on LHS chassis rail(dont need this or the bolts that hold it on), so you can then bolt in place either of the 2 tow bars.
genuine wiring patch harness for trailer plug is my suggestion since its plug straight into vehicle and interfaces with vehicle, goes in right hand rear compartment remove lid then remove box, interface connector for trailer harness is there.
instructions can be printed out from dealers if you ask
some new kits dont come with instructions in kits because information is on dealer computers
there is a template to print out to cut hole in bumper bar for tounge area of tow bar, uses centre square dimple in bar but its a bit wider.

The 2006 Mazda Tribute w/o factory tow package can't accept a trailer wiring harness. If you install one you will probably burn out the central computer as I did. I had a top notch trailer hitch instaler try three different brand harnesses. I feel Mazda should reimburse me the cost of this car new, as I bought it to tow and was told that it could tow 3500 lbs. False representation!

If you want to install a plug for the trailer lights it is better to go to a parts store and get a wiring harness that plugs into your cars wiring harness near the rear lights. That way you don't have to spend time finding the right wires to cut and tie into. These harnesses cost more than a splice in one, but can be installed in just minutes.

The Ford dealer or a junk yard would be my suggestions for obtaining that harness. you should be able to bypass the switch by connecting the white/pink wire with the red/light blue wire in the harness.
For safety's sake, only do this as a temporary measure.

Your question is not clear, 2002 trailblazer has a towing harness, in order to find each wire, use a ohmmeter and try out each application.

In case of male harness of a camper you can test it with 12 volts in each wire looking which light is on and if it is different position cut wires and make similar wiring
