or buy and FSM on fleabay.

After putting in many stereos over the years, my suggestion is to get an after market wiring harness for the radio designed for your truck. They will have the same color wires for ease of installation. Remember that the black wire will be ground and the red and yellow wire will represent power. the codes for the stereo and nav system are under the battery cover under the hood.

go to advanced auto parts and buy a connector for your car. just go and give them year, model and make and when you get it connect the same color wires from the stereo to the stereo harness. all of the colors are the same.

No & they usually don't. One of the easiest & cleanest ways of doing it, is to go to auto supply store or stereo store & buy the adapter harness. Few bucks saves many headaches & makes it easy & clean to switch back if you sell the vehicle.
