if you cleared the code - fixed arc and checked their are no more arcs - and keeps coming back then problem can be a burnt or carboned valve --lifter -push rod --piston
It is possible that you could have a bad spark plug wire, or a bad coil pack. Also it could be your TPS Throttle positioning sensor.
Check spark on each wire to verify that you are infact getting spark the whole way across. If you are then I would suggest changing the TPS as it is inexpensive, if that does not help it could be your MAF, ( Mass Aif Flow Sensor)
Hope that helps
try putting the original parts back on one at a time ,till it starts ,then have it diagnosed correctly by a diagnostic technician who will check the electrics over and find whats wrong
The coil pack that the spark plug wires connect too are labeled 1-6 the block if you look at it from the passenger side is odds towards the radiator and evens toward the firewall facing you they would be on right 135 on the left 246. Changing the belt you may have inadvertently unplugged the crank sensor which is located at the bottom end near the crank pulley.
With the engine cold, I think you take your 5/8 spark plug wrench, proper extensions, wobble joint (where needed) & 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet & remove 1 plug wire & plug at a time (In case you don't know the firing order or have the book, or don't have numbers on the plug wires at the ign module). The plugs in the front are easy to change, the back ones are a lot more difficult. I an assuming you have something like a 3.3 engine. (I have 3) While you are at it, check your small emissions hoses & vac hoses & belts. Rick
