My 2006 is doing the same thing. I noticed that the ignition key is badly worn. I used the other key that came with the car and it solved the problem. I would suggest you get another key made using the new key so that you'll have a backup if the second key starts to wear.
Can you give more details towards what you see and have done or checked? Is the battery dead? Did you check to see if the steering wheel is pulling against the ignition lock. Maybe the wheel needs to be turned one way or the other to take the pressure off the locking mechanism.
