the running lights and headlights, while they may be on a single switch mechanically, they are actually separate circuits, with two or three separate fuses.... you need much deeper circuit tracing
The odo-button dance procedure to reset the light is listed in Page 122-123 of the US 2004 Toyota Prius Owner's Manual (Section 2-5 "Operation of Instruments and Controls: Gauges, Meters and Service Reminder Indicators", item (j) in the "Service reminder indicators and warning buzzers" section). It should be listed in a similar section in your Toyota Camry Solara's Owner's Manual.
Maintenance light is turned on when your vehicle is due for service. It is set to turn on at a certain mileage. At minimum, you need an oil change service and what ever is required at your mileage interval. Resetting the light is as simple as, Ignition Key in the off position, press and hold the odometer button, Turn the ignition key on and continue to hold the odometer button for at least ten seconds. If properly done, you will see dashes across your odometer as you hold the button, until the odometer reading reappears. Hope this helps. Please leave feedback.
check for voltage at the lamps themselves. If no voltage is present, check headlamp relay,.Rarely it could also be the multi-function switch, but don't go there first! Also, did you try a new bulb?(s)
